What was once known as a traditional workforce and workplace now includes outsource coding services and agency coders working remotely. For those who adapt and embrace the practice of lifelong learning, these changes create opportunities for coders in both traditional and non-traditional work settings. While code training is available from many sources, not all code training prepares those seeking to code in the home care setting. Coding in home care is different and more challenging...where a professional coder is required to know much more than coding! If your goal is to become a professional home health and/or hospice coder we invite you to become part of the CodeProU family of learners.

This rich-media training program includes twenty-two embedded quizzes to engage you and help you gauge your comprehension of these topics. Need to review a topic again? With unlimited access during your subscription period you will be able to repeatedly view training topics and embedded quizzes. Quizzes are randomly generated; incorrect answers and unanswered questions are displayed with your answer, the correct answer and appropriate rationale statement so you continue to learn.

Training presentation handouts are available to download and print for taking notes.

Times shown in the segment list reflect "run-time" and total 9.1 clock hours. Your viewing time will be greater than the run-time so you can pause to look up codes and answer embedded quizzes within eachprogram segment. After completing all ten program segments, you will complete a randomly-generated cumulative post-test displayed online as a component of your training. A succesful post-test is an indication that you have completed LEVEL 1 code training and are ready to progress to CPU5598 CodeProU ICD-10-CM for Home Health & Hospice Coders | LEVEL 2.
