Basics of PDGM

PDGM (Patient-Driven Grouper Model) is the first major change to home health payment since PPS began in 2000. PDGM requires process and operational changes to survive. This course provides detailed information about the operational aspects and has been updated with the final rule.

This course includes four lessons. Each lesson will include the handout, instructional video and a post quiz. Once all four lessons are completed, there will be a final exam to test your knowledge. At the end of the course, complete the evaluation to download your certificate.

Lesson 2: Timing  (40 minutes)

Lesson 3: Clinical Grouping from Principal Diagnosis  (25 minutes)

Lesson 4: Functional Score (25 minutes)

Final Exam (20 questions)

Please note, all handouts are provided in PDF format at the beginning of each chapter and can be downloaded.
